Personality

Age categories are based on the age of the child on the day of the show.

Babies may be entered in both costume and personality BUT will be awarded a trophy or ribbon in only one category. (If place 1st or 2nd in costume you can not get awarded in personality.)

The judges decision will be final.

Little Miss & Little Mister

Must be 5 to 8 years old by September 1.
Limited to Adair County residents.
A contestant may win only once.
Judging will be on appearance, poise, personality and interview. The judges will be looking for a neat, natural little girl and boy, not miniature adults.
The Little Miss and Little Mister are expected to attend daily fair activities.
The Little Miss and Little Mister may receive a wristband good for daily fair admission, it must be requested in the secretary’s office.

Entry Fee: $2 per class OR $20 all day per hourse & rider pair

Not responsible for accidents – NO stallions allowed
Judge’s decision is final – Unruly horses will be excused from ring
No rough handling of horses will be tolerated
Must enter one class ahead so payback can be configured
Sign-up required for high point – One high point entry per horse & rider
Youths (18 years & under) are required to wear helmets (even lead line)
All participants are encouraged to wear helmets while riding

Pedal Pull

Boys and Girls compete together in the following age groups:

Participation ribbons to all contestants.
Trophies are awarded to winners in each class.

Two pigtails NOT braided, with hair parted from near the forehead down the center to the back, with a band next to the scalp and another one at the end of the pigtail. Length of pigtail will be the distance from one band to the other.

NO measuring, anything goes, may be braided.
